Morning routine as always, wake up at 0500 and sleep for another 5 - 10 minutes before suddenly getting up, getting dressed, cleaning the sink, mirror and tile and hurrying down to muster. Then a bag nasty, then ATT bus. Thursday marked test two, which had been setting people from other classes to BMS and MNS. The threat of working out was never effective on me, forcing me to do what I more of less want to do but am not motivated to do myself as a punishment is almost a reward. That however isn't what we get if we are falling behind at ATT.

There are three punishments at ATT all of which I fully intent to avoid like the plague.
  1. Academic Review Boards - Being sent to the chiefs for review on setting you back or removing you from the ATT program.
  2. Mandatory Night Study - Phasing your liberty down to phase I and making you come to night study every night for a whole week. This automatically happens if you score a 74% or below on a test.
  3. BMS - I have no idea what this stands for, or even if that's the correct acronym. This is the thing I wish to avoid the most. If you're sent back, you go to school every morning with the rest of ATT but instead of learning you clean the school house, which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't futile and you didn't do it regardless of if the school is clean or not week after week until you class up and join a new class in whatever week you were pushed down to.
All of these punishments are far more effective on me then physical ever was.

The morning went well with the review, I had one lab to complete for the wiring material and was sent to do it before test two and then it was on to the practical test. The calculations went well, however I kept failing the pre-test because I was too precise for Nida, it would ask what I measured and I'd tell it when it wanted me to give it a 0 for low voltage flow. With that calibration error out of the way both the practical test and knowledge test went well. I scored a 96% which meant I'd be going home after lunch. About 3 of our class single rocked the test and had to take it again after lunch, and then clean the school house until the end of duty and one of our class didn't make it.

After lunch I made the bad call to return to the Porter early and discovered we had scored very poorly on our inspection a 3.27 which while it was the second highest for the day, it was much lower then the score from last week a 3.73 and so the whole of the Porter was put on sweepers for a field day until further notice. For me that meant going up and down each ladder well and sweeping while a bunch of people milled about wondering what to do as we couldn't go to our rooms.

When we were finally called to post mando was called for building four. Finally the ongoing rumor that sections 2 and 4 don't get it was broken my second mando. This time it was on a Thursday and I'd been hearing for weeks about the "MWR Lady" and her killer mando. When we got to bldg four my group did the 15 minute run first and looking at the set the others were doing I could understand why they talked however I'm constantly surprised by how much people complain about workouts. I may very well seek her evening classes once I get my stuff together.

We barely made it back to the Porter in time for Chiefs call which many predicted would be a bad one. For the most part it wasn't. The honor guard came to recruit which got me thinking about potentially joining the military choir, and MWR is moving an office onto the porter for a host of reasons. We were then given a quick brief about what the tensions in Lybia could mean for us and then Chief rolled right into his standard "You're ugly, and porn stars don't want to have sex with you..." about sexsplotaition and the sex scandals on the internet.

The rest of the night was fairly standard, we were posted to our rooms, liberty was dropped a little later then usual and then I dropped my phone off my bunk, broke it and had to go about the process of getting it replaced as opposed to my actual evening plans.
